Ultrasonic bike servicing.

Our service facility is our laboratory. It’s where all the magic happens. It’s built on decades of experience and the theories of our motor racing background. It’s a hub of really cool bike manufacturing and maintenance tools and equipment. It’s where we build and maintain our prototypes and race bikes. It’s where every single custom Forwards bike is drawn together and hand assembled.

It’s the perfect place to maintain bicycles.

This is a strip and rebuild service. Also known as the ultimate annual service or relationship builder to establish a relationship with you, your bike and us. It is the foundation of a perfectly maintained bicycle. Once we’ve completed this level service we can dial in a regular service schedule to suit your needs.

During this all in service we strip the bike down to the component parts and beyond, taking out the jockey wheels and other tricky to clean parts. The individual parts are then deep cleansed in our ultrasonic cleaning tanks and bioremediating parts washer.

Tubeless tyres are demounted, inspected for damage and to check sealant quality. Valves are checked and cleaned. The tyres are then remounted with new sealant.

Headsets and bottom brackets are removed, cleaned, inspected and reassembled.

The frame, forks and wheels are decontaminated, hot washed, blow dried and polished ready for reassembly. We use dedicated polishes for specific purposes which is the same for oils and greases for lubrication.

Each individual part is blow dried, polished and or lubricated and assembled back to its component form. Once the components are reassembled we reassemble the bicycle introducing new parts where necessary following a discussion with the customer.

Once assembled, the gears and brakes are tuned and all Di2 systems are updated and diagnosed via our dedicated computer system. Hydraulic brake systems are bled.

The completed bicycle is then polished again ready for handover.

Tyre pressures are set to the customers preferred setting or via a database based on the combined weight of rider, bike and kit.

This is an all in labour cost.

The same level of detail as the Ultrasonic Teardown Bike Service, without headset removal, bottom bracket removal, tubeless tyre inspection, hydraulic brake bleed and all in labour cost. It’s a great intermediate service.

This is fine tuned for those customers that love their bike and keep it clean but want the exceptional cleaning power of our ultrasonic systems and parts washer to clean the drivetrain. This includes us stripping and cleaning the cassette, rear mech, front mech, chain and chainset but nothing else.

This service is for the mechanically competent customer looking for the ultimate drivetrain performance.

This includes full brake bleed, calliper clean and pad change if required for disc brakes or full cable change and pad change for cable brakes.
